I like the materials of this knife very much, but I find it too large. The handle is definitely too long, and this interferes with smooth one-handed opening. When I compare the handle to those of my Gerber fixed blade Tanto and Gerber Gator, it is clear that those have the more comfortable handle design. I have not completely broken this one in, and have not clipped it on to carry, but it is too big for pocket carry unless I'm wearing cargo pants with big pockets. Otherwise it shows from the outside. I really do like the one-handed opening of these Spyderco knives, so it's a bit disappointing that it is not as smooth as it could be with this one. I like the weight of the knife, not heavy, and the blade is very competent. Another thing about the large size is that I'm reluctant to pull this out to do everyday things in public where there is an audience. It isn't subtle ;)

This is my all-time favorite everyday-carry knife. The pocket clip is well designed, can be moved to either end of either side of the handle or removed all together. The handle has great ergonomics and feels like a natural extension of your hand when used either in a regular or reversed grip. The knife is lightweight enough that you forget that it is in your pocket but not so light that it feels like a toy. The blade steel is an excellent VG-10 that comes with a razor sharp factory edge. I have found this steel to really hold an edge well and is fairly easy to sharpen. The back of the blade features jimping on the back of the "hole" portion where your thumb goes and the back of the handle has jimping in the plastic as well. My knife has the partially serrated edge and I think this is a useful option. The serrations are really handy when the need arises to cut rope, webbing, etc. The Spyderco hole in the blade is my favorite method of one-hand opening. I think this is a superior method of blade deployment compared to a thumb stud and is fully ambidextrous without snagging on your clothing. The size of this knife is ideal, just the right length for everyday carry and applications. Bottom line...a whole lot of knife for your money!

Based on the background green found in the U.S. Army?s Digital Cammo, the military foliage green Endura4 and Delica4 are designed for both military and civilians. The color is a shade-shifting mix of gray and green that effectively disappears into its surroundings. Spyderco offers this new handle color option on the revamped Delica4 and Endura4.
