Sorry, I haven't spent any time with the scanner, but am sure it will be fine. After the first of the year I'm going to get busy and scan all of my photos onto my laptop to save.

During the 15 months that it worked, it worked well. However, it did not hold up to light use (one to three times a week).

I used it one day & two days later it stopped working. The buttons did not respond & the software could not communicate with the scanner.

I tried reloading the software & with a clean install on a different machine with the same results.

Wrote Canon about it, they said sorry.

I am using this scanner on an older computer running Win98SE. It produces good images and has been dependable. It is light weight and the software that comes with it is easy to use. I have not had any problems with it.
