We love these shoes! My daughter enjoyed them so much, she asked for the same style when she grew out of them. They wear well and are easy to put on.

We bought this shoe for my daughter, age 5. She wore them one day and the little charm was broken within minutes or it must have come broken from the seller. The charm repeatedly fell off the shoe. She eventually lost it. After about 5 uses the sole is separating from the shoe. If you want a child's sneaker do not get this one. If you want a shoe to look cute on a mannequin and never get used, this is the shoe for you. It looks cute out of the box and that's it. I should have gone out into the back yard and burned $45 in the barbecue. That would have been easier than going through the trouble of buying this shoe and I would be in the same position I am now - $45 poorer and I still need shoes for my daughter. I have never written a review before because I expect mediocrity but this product by passed mediocre and went head on into rip-off. I needed to warn my fellow consumers. Don't get raped by these guys.

I purchased this sneaker in the color purple/silver. First, it simply isn't an attractive sneaker at all. The silver is more of a grayish color and the glitter embellishment wears off giving the shoe only splotches of glitter. Although I ordered a WIDE, this sneaker appeared to be a standard width and it was very difficult to get on my daughters feet due to the constriction of the 4 strips of faux elastic laces. This elastic doesn't "give" much which results in a real struggle when attempting to get in on. Although my daughter typically tries to put her shoes on herself, she's completely unable to get these shoes on due to the elastic laces. These sneakers also did not hold up to play wear and they look like they were worn for 6-months after just three wears. The rubber at the toe wore prematurely resulting in long threads being exposed, the rubber sole is separating from the fabric on one of the sneakers, and there are small strings that are "sprouting" loose all over both shoes. They were definitely not worth the money. As a frequent Stride Rite customer, these shoes don't hold up to the quality that you typically expect. I also ordered the other color which has rainbow appearance in a larger size for future use. Although this pair looks more attractive (just like the picture), I suspect I'm going to have the same problems with this pair - even more disappointing since this pair was more expensive than the purple/silver pair.
